Food is really expensive and our chef was fine, but didnt have a lot of personality.

Love the atmosphere here. The food is always great, and the chefs are extremely entertaining. We love the huge selection of sushi and drinks as well. We love taking our family here when we eat out. The prices are reasonable and the wait staff are always fast and friendly

Phenomenal restaurant! Wonderful atmosphere. Staff was very knowledgeable of menu and very attentive to their tables. Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered way too many appetizers to name(fave was the money bags and fried calamari). Ordered the seafood bento which was awesome. If you are not a seafood fan their non-seafood was just as good. If you love this style cuisine and/or hibachi I would highly recommend checking this place out. Guaranteed will revisit.

Really good experience here, was seated quick. I enjoy their Friday special with half of sushi between a certain time. My family and I ordered our food and received everything in a good timely manner for it being extremely busy during that happy hour, very happy about that. Definitely going to keep making that a Friday go to spot!

One of the best places for mid end sushi in town! The kitchen menu is great, and sushi is great! If you want some great bang for your buck, Sakura is the place to go! That said, it does get busy and you won't be getting high end quality, but this is far easier on your wallet than all other places aside from Kroger sushi.Atmosphere is, well, feels like a chain restaurant, so yeah. A bit of a let down, especially when it gets busy and the servers are rushing everything and everyone. Plus, due to the nature of the restaurant, it does get really busy at times and all the bad that comes with it (Rushed sushi rolls, servers frantic, etc.) but, for the price, it's still worth it.Overall, if you haven't yet, strongly recommend here. But, don't expect true Japanese style courtesy or attention.

Great every time. I love the hibachi grill if you happen to dine in!!! The chefs are always amazing. I recommend the hibachi salmon— it’s seriously so good. The sushi also!!

I want here with a big group and it was quite a pleasant experience. I like how calm and relaxing the place is. everyone who works there is very friendly and the chefs really put on an amazing display of culinary skills. It was quite a delight to be involved in a group dinner and the food was very fresh and top notch. This is definitely a great place to go on a date with or just simply a quiet night dining. This is my first experience here in quite some time and will be returning again.

We go a few times a year, plan on 50.00 per head and enjoy delicious food.

Great fun atmosphere. If you are planning on sitting as round the hibachi grill, I don't recommend it family time.. it's a tight fit and not suitable for little ones. But they're are booths and tables that should be ok. The chef had a great attitude and was very entertaining. Drinks are weak and mixed funny.. but there beer was on point lol

My favorite place for dinner in the Toledo area. Never had anything other than 5 star service and food.

It is a run of the mill hibachi place with good sushi. For me, hibachi restaurants are all pretty much the same. Once you get over the flare it's just standard rich buttery food. If it's your first time going to hibachi style restaurant you'll enjoy the entertainment. If not, come here for good sushi, the miso soup, and a cold Japanese beer and you'll be okay.

while the food is delicious it almost does not live up to the hype. I feel as if you're going to be paying for the ambiance and the chef's cooking in front of you rather than the taste of the food. despite that the staff is friendly and the place is well kept.

Always one of my favorite go-to spots for sushi. The atmosphere is typically booming, expect a full house Friday and Saturday night when after 9, sushi is half off! With that being said, also expect a wait time for seating, so arrive early. The Dynamite roll was my first and remains to be my favorite sushi roll. Must try!!

I really dont know what else to say. Its 5 stars good. If you like yum yum food then go here if you dont like yum yum food still go here because its 5 stars good.

By far my favorite sushi spot in toledo so far. Food is excellent in flavor and portions. Bartenders are great( Abby and Alexis). But for several months now i cant get a cold glass of white wine without having the staff take extra measures. Please fix your wine cooler

The whole family went to celebrate our granddaughters graduation and were taken care of promptly and courteously. The service was exceptional as well as the food and the preparation. Excellent showmanship.

Just had a great time celebrating my Aunt Patti's birthday here. The cooks are skilled with those hibachi grills that you sit around. Thank You for making great food and providing excellent service.

We had a great time at Sakura. We had a very large party and the waitresses were friendly and provided good service. The Chefs had plenty of personality as well. My experience was one of the better that I've had dining at a hibachi grill.

Overall great experience and awesome food. Chef put on an excellent show. Highly recommended and will be back as soon as I can with the kids this time.

Sakura has the freshest sushi and real wasabi and fresh ginger slices. The hibachi grill is entertaining and delicious.

The hibachi chef, and subsequent food he made [and the sushi rolls] was most excellent. We were celebrating a birthday night when we were there and both the chef and wait staff did separate fun songs/rituals with us.....very appreciated. Sakura is a rare restaurant in that it gets even more crowded as the years go on. Get reservations for weekend evening dining!

Service was wonderful & the sirloin & shrimp hibachi lunch portions very pleasing. A GR8 place for another meal!

Our favorite Japanese Steakhouse in the country. We've visited so many of them throughout different states and always boast that Sakura is our ultimate favorite. We always have great service and delicious meals. We come for a joint birthday dinner each year and look forward to it. The dynamite rolls are a major favorite and dishes from hibachi and kitchen alike are delicious. Always recommend.

I love Sakura and gave for many years. While my last few visits weren't a 5 star this night was. Our waitress was quick, courteous and attentive. The sushi was on point fresh and delicious. Great wine selection and always a good atmosphere.

We visited on a Sunday so the restaurant was not too busy. Layout is pretty accommodating whether you choose the grill or a booth. Wait staff was very efficient and friendly. Chef was fun as can be expected but he still added his own flare tot he table which is always nice in that type of setting. The food was delicious and there was plenty to go around. Only thing a little slim was the mushroom soup which contained 1 slice of mushroom. Not too bad in price. The flavor of the food and portions make it a easy bill to swallow. Average about $30 per person with waters to drink. Would recommend checking it out.

The Happy this restaurant has during the weekdays in the bar area is fantastic; and you can't beat the half off rolls late night on Friday and Saturday

Acceptable service. Good food variety. Limited wine selection. Definitely decent place. Just be aware of the bad ventilation system. Your clothes will definitely end up with a strong smell coming from the tepanyaki area, even Iif you are not seated there. Yes I would return.

Good sushi place with a louder atmosphere catering towards larger parties. The sushi is good and moderately priced, but the main focus is certainly the hibachi grills. The lunch menu, offered Monday through Saturday, is a great value with appropriate portions.
